Children pose many challenges when it comes to medication.  Children resist having to take their medicine, may dislike the taste or texture, have difficulty swallowing, and of course, fear injections!  At The Custom Compounding Center, we can help make taking medicine a pleasant experience.  By working with your prescriber, we can make your child’s medicine into a suitable pediatric dosage and form your child will be willing—maybe even excited! —to take.  We can compound oral medications into pleasantly flavored suspensions, solutions, “gummy” treats, even lollipops!  Most medications can be compounded into transdermal gels that can be easily rubbed into the wrist to allow for absorption of the medication.
